Nothing Like A 'Girls" Day!

Nothing like a girls day, especially when it's spent shopping on Black Friday.

We left all of the men in the family behind to take of the boys and the babies and headed for the BEAUTIFUL SanTan outdoor mall.

The day couldn't have been any more perfect. 

The sun was shinning and the sky was a BRILLIANT shade of blue.

First stop

Sephora

  every girls favorite store.

We all had a great time trying all of our favorite products.
And bringing these two little cuties along made for a real BLAST! 

Then on to Icing. 

where these two cuties had a ball trying on winter outerwear.

Splash must ALWAYS be on the list for those BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE clothing needs. 

Designer jeans for Heather. 

Perfect pair of jeans for the girl with the perfect body.

All in all it was a PERFECT day with just the girls..

Highlights, Gray, and A Lot Of Angst1

The other day I was sitting in the car using the visor mirror to put on some lip gloss when I noticed a GRAY hair. If freaked me out so I started searching for more and low and behold I found too many to even count, they where EVERYWHERE!
 I had no idea I had so many.
You see I have had blond and red highlights in my hair for as long as I can remember and I was not seeing the gray hair because the blond did a pretty good job of hiding them.
I kind of got into a little bit of a panic and decided that a full color change to hide even the smallest hint of gray was in order.
Sooooooo
in just a few hours time I went from this....

To this.

I am experiencing major angst over the drastic change. And quite ready to add some blond highlights to my VERY dark head of hair.

Ready, Willing, Able and Worthy

This video reminded me of a spring day quite a few years ago,

 when a worthy Priesthood holder saw a terrible accident on the freeway.

He pulled off of the I15 freeway to help when he found a critically injured16 year old boy lying unconscious  in the median strip. He was being attended to by the EMT's.
 This man felt prompted by the spirit to give him a Priesthood blessing,

That 16 year old boy was my son Jordan.

 I will be FOREVER grateful for this wonderful man and his worthiness to administer to my son.

Jay loves Coach Edwards and his old team-mates. They always have such a great time when they're together, laughing and reminiscing about the "Glory Years"
 These were the kind of men that played for Lavell.
Pretty good guys if I do say so myself. Of course I might be just a little partial.
It's ALWAYS a GREAT golf day when you've got "Coach" along..
