BYU leads the rivalry series 24-11

You might recognize the name Harline on this jersey. Johnny Harline was amazing he was a household name in every BYU fan's home. We have known him since he was 12 years old. Jay coached him all through Jr. high school and then again as a freshman at OHS. He and Jordan grew up together and have been great friends, both of them share a love of sports and music. They both played and preformed together in the same rock band and on the same sports teams all through Jr. high and high school. So that makes this picture even sweeter. Notice who's hand is on the ball.

Below are some interesting facts regarding the BYU, U of U rivalry. Take special note of the scores during the 1981,1982, and 1983 seasons. (the good old days) Yes, those were the years that Jay played for BYU, also note that in the 1981 season Kyle Wittingham also played for BYU. Jay had the privilege of playing with both Kyle, and Cary Wittingham and worked with Kyle for a while after their playing days. This probably explains why we feel a little loyalty to Utah. Also we believe Kyle is a good coach because of his days at BYU. So you could really say the BYU has had in some part an influence on Utah's success.

When I first met your family, I was going to the U and of course supported them. You guys have convinced me otherwise. :)
