Warm-ups With The Team

It was a great day at Lavell Edwards Stadium, a great day indeed. BYU football has a great tradition of involving the past with the present, and it has been so much fun being involved again with the greatest football program around. They may not have the respect of the BCS or even the nation for that matter. But when a football program is building more then just a great football team, such as great men it truly deserves respect. Coach Mendenhal enlists the help of BYU football alumni in his recruiting efforts. He is not just looking for great athletes but for great young men with moral fiber. So many of the great players that play for BYU come here on the recommendation of a former player with a good knowledge of the recruits character. Each week BYU football alumni are invited down on the field pre-game to watch warm-ups and welcome the team onto the field. Immediate family is also invited to come along, so each week Jay takes our boys and thier son's down to experience the grandeur of that great big field. this week was Hewitt and Linford's turn, they had an a amazing time. They both love BYU football so he thought they would love being up close, but the highlight of the game was not the players at all it was Cosmo.. Oh well that's ok if their dad has anything to do with it they will end up playing for Boise State anyway.
