On Saturday evening the whole family enjoyed a most SPECTACULAR event.....
The Polar Express at Stringtown USA
It was FANTASTIC.
The Anderson family of Lindon hosts this event every year, it was one of the best activities of the season.
The train took us on a ride through the North Pole and stopped at Santa's workshop, where all of the kids sat on his lap and received a treat.
After everyone had their turn on Santa's lap we exited his workshop to board the train again.
It was actually the last part of the train ride that really took me by surprise.

We boarded the train once again, but this leg of the ride was much different than the first leg of the ride. There were no elves, no reindeer, no toys...
This leg of the adventure was all about the TRUE meaning of Christmas.
Beautiful manger scenes, followed by the artwork of Simon Dewey depicting the life of our beloved Savior from birth to his Resurrection...
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL...
As the train traveled through this amazing display sacred songs were played and the Spirit was so strong. I had a very difficult time holding back the tears.
I think everyone else was touched by this amazing display because
As the train came to a stop and we all exited I noticed that it was very quiet, we were all basking in the reverence of this wonderful event.
