A Glimps Of Our Odyssey

A Day In The Life!

So glad last week is over it was a DOOSEY!
It all started when a very inebriated, barefooted IMBECILE
(A stupid or silly person; a dolt, a person whose mental acumen is well below par.)
decided (out of nowhere) to ATTACK this man
Yep... My husband Jay...

Anyone that knows Jay personally knows that he is the epitome of the word
 "Gentleman"
He's kind Courteous, and NEVER uses foul language.
But if needs be he WILL defend himself.
I pity the poor fool that is STUPID enough to take Jay on.
He may be 50yrs. old but is still a SPECIMEN, sportin' 18 inch Pipes and not afraid to use them.
He is the "Power-lifting Master."
NEVER MESS WITH A LINFORD MAN!
This illustrates how the other guy looked after accosting Jay 3 times all the while shouting profanities at him.
He definitely picked the wrong guy..Hehehe.

Jay needed to un-plug after his very eventful day so we went to Moneyball,
a good sports movie always does the trick..
Jay and I LOVED it
Brad Pitt....Need I say more?

We give it a very enthusiastic
2 THUMBS UP!
I also dragged Jay to see Footloose.
The dancing was PHENOMENAL
I LOVED the first one and was hoping the re-make would be just as good.
It was good but it left a little to be desired.
I think I would feel different if I hadn't seen the original back in 1984
There was just no way to replace the Original cast.

I give it
This one will AWAYS be the BEST!
The grass is WHACKED here in Mesa.
In the summer they have this HORRIBLE rye grass that is ugly and quite uncomfortable to sit on or even enjoy. But come October 1st. everyone mows the rye grass right down to the dirt and it looks pretty scary,  they plant what they call winter grass (similar to Utah grass) and within 2 weeks they have a BEAUTIFUL green soft lawn all set for the winter.
Below is Ashley and Brandon's lawn in transition form summer to winter.
This little guy covered himself with Blue and green food coloring just minutes before Sacrament Meeting on Sunday Morning. When I put him in the bath tub he put up a HUGE fight until he saw he was turning the water green and then all he could say was
"Look Grammy it's Green Lantern."
Ashley captured the second photo while he was praying I guess he felt a little guilt for the trouble he caused prior to Sacrament meeting.
Pops and Walker just before Sacrament meeting.
Below is our chapel in Mesa Arizona
I LOVE this photo
A photo really is worth a 1000 words and doesn't this one just say it all!!!
The week ended pretty good Jay found his Street!
Unfortunately it isn't in the best part of  Chandler.

Welcome Monday, I wonder what this week holds for the Linford's???
