UTAH V BYU

I always find it funny to listen to the fans! Its really funny and interesting how crass and ignorant a fan can really be. I know Kyle Whittingham personally and I believe him to be a classy guy. I don't know Bronco Mendenhall personally and believe him to be a classy guy. I have never, and believe I will never hear either of these coaches talk in a disrespectful manner about each other or the opposing rival. You see it takes 2 good teams to make a rivalry, otherwise you just have one team that enjoys beating the other while the beaten team enjoys hating the better team. It is really interesting and like any opinion there are exceptions and everyone has one at least.(opinion).In my opinion the fan who chooses to degrade and try to minimize his opponent is most likely a fan who has never attempted to achieve anything difficult athletically. Utah has a very fine football team, some amazing athletes and coaches, they deserve our praise and gratitude for representing the State of Utah like Champions. BYU should be respected even the guy everyone wants to blame Max, how about putting a little blame on the Ute players who batted down and intercepted passes, had sacks and played like champions. After all only if you have stepped on the field of competition at that level and succeeded do you have any room for criticism. The sooner we all recognize that to truly test your skills and become a champion on the field of competition you have to be willing to fail. I love the cougars for what they are and what they are striving to be. I am very proud of those Utes for what they have accomplished. Go Utes!!!!
