Cakes by Pop's... Truly a Labor of LOVE.

For every birthday Jay makes a special cake for the birthday person in our family.
Each year the kids start thinking about what they want a few months prior to their birthday and sometimes it's a pretty tall order to fill, but Jay always seems to manage.
**
It's hard to picture this guy making cakes.
These are only a few of the cakes he's made.
So much thought, time, effort, and love go into one of Jay's cakes.
This was Jordan's guitar. And this same year he mad a cheerleader doing a toe-touch for Ashley, that one was fantastic, and my favorite one thus far.
**
This one was a pencil, for our little artist. A few years prior to this one he made Halle a beautiful Princess cake.
Transporting this cake to Halle's house was a bit of a task, but as you can see it made it without incident. Cute little Halle was so pleased with the finished product, I think Jay was too.
**
Ernie for Hewitt. He's also done Elmo and Cookie Monster. Sesame Street is always a big hit.
**
Of course no year would be complete without at least one sports cake. This year Jack-Jack wanted a football. The year following this one I think he got a football stadium cake, and the year after that it was a basketball.
**
The "Mack Truck" for our very own "Big Mack" definitely one of my favorites..Yes this is actually a cake. Great job isn't it.
**
Little Mack eating one of the wheels.
**
He filled it full of edible dirt, Mack loved it...BTW the whole cake is edible..
**
One of my favorite cakes isn't pictured here It was a Back Hoe That Hewitt requested.
Here's the real kicker-----They actually taste GOOD!! frosting and all..

This is awesome. Do you think he would be willing to give lessons. I'm serious I would LOVE to be able to do that!

He really is creative. It's NOT easy coming up with ideas for Birthday cakes. They are darling!
