Wow What a Weekend..

J bought a new DVD player for the master bedroom, the old one didn't work and needed to be replaced so I told him to throw it out, he agreed but informed me that there was a video stuck in it. It was a cassette video mind you, not a DVD, so I told him not to worry about it we would just replace the video with a copy on DVD.

NOPE, NO WAY..

It was the NFL Crunch Course.

HIS ALL TIME FAVORITE.

He was bound and determined to retrieve the video, and was sure that you could no longer find this very valuable video. (HIS WORDS) My question is....Where is he going to view it? (It won't be long before you can't even buy video cassette players.)

He used to show it this video to his teams every week after a win and has a lot of good memories watching it.

When He finally got the video loose, he began to unscrew the rest of the mechanism when I inquired as to why he was doing this he informed me that he was going to keep the DVD drive

"because it was still good." Seriously who is this man? What would he want with this old driver? When I asked him what he would use it for his response was " I can use it for quite a few things."

Yeah he'll put it down on his work bench for safe keeping along with 1000 other pieces of junk that are "still good" that he can use for "quite a few things."

Now the words "JERRY" and "RIG" and "Pack" and 'Rat" are coming to mind.

Help!!

On a different note we saw the A-Team on Saturday night.

Good cast lot's of action, a little far fetched but very entertaining.

I'd hire them! Wouldn't You?

On Sunday my MM girls asked me if my shoes were comfortable, they had been looking at them and wondered where my toes actually fit into the shoe. They couldn't understand why a person would wear shoes with such a pointy toe. (They should see the other shoes in my closet) better yet they should have a look at Karen's shoe closet.. My answer to their question was a simple NO they're not comfortable!

Their next question. "Why do you wear them then?" I had many responses for that question.

I had to get the most out of my investment, I spent a LOT of money on these shoes, and

you gotta admit they are great shoes, and they matched my outfit splendidly.

A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. After my explanation they understood....

SOMEWHAT?

The princess festival starts today in Lindon. It's days like this that make me miss my Little "Princess Andi" more than usual. She would love the festival.

BTW We also saw the Karate Kid this weekend. J was entertained, Me~~~~Not so much.
