I love being Mormon, I love the Mormon lifestyle.
I'm so grateful that the LDS religion requires me to live the Gospel EVERY DAY not just on Sunday.
I love living in Utah Valley where the LDS influence is so strong,
I LOVE my calling, my girls, and all those I have the privilege of serving with,
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is TRUE, I'm so grateful for that knowledge.
A few days ago a letter came in the mail, the return address on it was
The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints,
I didn't even pay any attention to whom the recipient was, I automatically assumed it was for Jay, even though he is no longer a Bishop he still gets letters from the church now and then.
I put the letter in Jay's mail stack on his night table, and went about my daily business.
Later on in the day I was in my room putting away laundry when I caught the name on the letter.
BIG SHOCKER........It was addressed to me not Jay. Feeling a little nervous, and wondering why I would receive a letter from the church, I opened it.
It was a letter from the Mt. Timpanogos Temple Presidency, asking me to come in and visit with them about working in the Temple.
So many mixed feelings.
I LOVE the Temple, but I'm so nervous to actually work there.
One thing I have always felt is you never turn down a calling and the opportunity to serve the Lord. I 'm looking forward to my meeting with the temple presidency, and I hope I'm able to serve diligently in the Sacred House of The Lord, I know my life will be so blessed through a calling such as this.
I love the Temple and the way it makes me feel when I am there. There are times when I sit in the Celestial room and feel the Spirit so strong that I never want to leave.
Today I am Grateful!!
