About 4 years ago we changed all the hardware in our home from brass to oil rubbed bronze, and I mean all of the hardware. We changed knobs, light fixtures, hinges, cabinet hardware, etc.
Anything that had even a hint of brass was changed to oil rubbed bronze.
It gave everything a beautiful up-dated look.
I have been noticing for the past few weeks that some of the door knobs were starting to look pretty BAD,
It drove my crazy every time I would look at one. I really wanted to change all of the knobs that were starting to show wear but the schlage product we used was now discontinued.
On Saturday Jay found a box that had all of the extra oil rubbed bronze hardware in it
(It's amazing what you find when you organize the Garage!)
Jay switched out every single knob that had any wear on it.. I'm sure glad we had the foresight to order extra hardware back then.

I know it sounds shallow but those knobs were driving me crazy. Now they all look brand new and I love it!! It's funny how something as menial as a few warn doorknobs could get under my skin so badly.
I love being married to a man that can and will do anything, you name it and Jay can do it..
The new knobs... I LOVE them!
