14 Smoke detectors, 3 Carbon monoxide detectors 16 battery changes. Whew!! Quite a chore.
The other night (right in the middle of it) I heard the dreaded BEEP.
That's right the smoke detector battery was warning us that it was time for a new battery.
Jay usually just hits it with what ever he can find at the moment, just to make it stop, Which results in new smoke detectors. This year he decided to change the battery instead of killing the smoke detector.
So he replaced the battery that he thought was the culprit.
Good job. No more beep.
The next thing I know~~ yes of course right in the middle of the night the BEEP again.
Then I remembered the last time we changed the batteries was last year at daylight savings time.
It was time to change all 14 of them. So that's what we did.
**
Proud of ourselves that we were on top of this we went to bed knowing that no more BEEPS in the night.
WRONG....How was this possible, 14 smoke detectors, 14 new batteries.
What the Heck!
We forgot about the Carbon Monoxide detectors. 3 Carbon Monoxide Detectors one for each floor. at least these were not located on the ceilings.

The contractor of this home sure went the extra mile. But seriously 14 smoke detectors.....
**
The sun is shining today and the prediction is 7o degrees.
I know Jay is thinking "GOLF." I heard him schedule a Tee Time last night.
I am thinking "CLEAN THE GARAGE."
I guess we need some "Content Communication" today.
**
I sure hope this guy
Gets the garage cleaned up and organized before going here to hit 18 holes.
**
so we can park this
**
and this
**
Inside where they belong, without scratches and nicks.
His tools are starting to take over the garage... Does a man really need so many tools?
I thought a garage was for automobiles not
MAN TOYS!
